Would your organization benefit from
support on:
Facilitation that is caring and
effective
Moving from ideas to implementation
Getting along with each other
Making decisions by consensus
Keeping discussions on track
Giving everyone a fair voice
Balancing "process" and "product"
Delegation to committees and staff
Having meetings that are lively and productive!
Whether your organization is in a place of
stuckness and despair; has high ideals but not many skills yet; or
already knows a lot about how to work together but wants additional
support while facing a major issue, Tree might be able to help.
Tree Bressen has been involved in a facilitative
role with groups of various kinds for over a decade. From spending
literally thousands of hours in meetings as a participant, she has seen
what works and what doesn't. Methods that do work are learnable, and
they are available to your group.
Tree is an eclectic practitioner, drawing on a
variety of approaches to support the groups she serves. Because issues
rarely get stuck solely at a rational level, skillful facilitation
calls for working with emotions and participants' whole selves,
following the group's energy to see what is emerging and where the
conversation needs to move. Tree concentrates on what works in each
particular situation. Processes she is familiar with include: Appreciative
Inquiry, Dynamic
Facilitation,
Art
of Hosting, Process
Work, Non-Violent
Communication,
Open
Space, World
Café,
Work that Reconnects
, Reevaluation
Counseling and more, as well as consensus decision-making in
a secular context which is her specialty. Her work emphasizes building
the capacity of your group to respond effectively to future situations
along with moving through present challenges.
